PURPOSE: A broadcasting receiving method and an apparatus thereof for offering a service transferring a message in the limited space to a specific receiving device are provided to transfer the desired message to the specific user by receiving application data for a messaging service. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting receiver compares a host ID and its own host ID of the received application data(400). Application data is received by using data-only channel(410).
