[Class 60.] In a machine for trimming and finishing rubber-covered printing- machine rollers, the roller is rotated between head and tail stocks 12, 10 and a dished knife 24 removes a continuous helical trimming of triangular section. The ridges 34 are ground off by an a brasive wheel 46 driven by an electromotor 43 on the knife slide 21. The trimming is tensioned by the action of a jet of liquid directed by a nozzle 35. |
