PURPOSE: A wire rope assembly for a rockfall protection net is provided to minimize the gap between the surface and a rockfall protection net and improve the reliability of supporting force by employing double-string wire ropes. CONSTITUTION: A wire rope assembly for a rockfall protection net comprises an outer body(1) having a coupling hole formed from top to bottom, an inner body(2) having two coupling holes, a fastening member for fixing the outer and inner bodies together, a left fixing element, a right fixing element which is identical to the left fixing element and installed opposite to the left fixing element, and a fastening member for fixing the right and left fixing elements together.
