PURPOSE: A route searching device is provided to remarkable reduce calculation processing time and to reduce energy consumption when a vehicle is driven. CONSTITUTION: A device includes a road storage part(110), a path search part(200), a discrimination operation part(220), and a display part(230). The road storage part calculates the map matching between two dimensional road data and three dimensional topographic map mesh data. The road storage part stores the three dimensional distance and fuel consumption which are calculated according to a unit path. The path search part stores paths to the inputted destination in a temporary storage part after searching a plurality of paths. The discrimination operation part adds and compares the fuel consumption of a unit path which is included in the plurality of paths in the temporary storage part. The discrimination operation part finds a path which minimizes fuel consumption. The display part displays a road line which is determined by the discrimination operation part.
