PURPOSE: A monitoring camera, a method for controlling the same, a program readable recording medium for executing the same are provided to utilize a control data stored in a memory and determines a zoom value, a pan value, and a tilt value, thereby displaying an exact image to a display unit. CONSTITUTION: A data receiver(70) receives data transmitted from a terminal through network. A lens unit of an image obtaining unit(10) includes a zoom lens. A photographing unit of the image obtaining unit generates an image data from the incident light passed through the lens unit. A zoom controller(21) control the zoom lens according to the zoom value. A pan controller pans the image obtaining unit according to a pan value. A tilt controller(25) tilts the image obtaining unit according to the tilt value. A data transmitter(60) transmits the image data to the terminal.
