PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire is provided to improve top of the snow performance, thereby maintaining the safely controlling performance or restricting generation of wearing out partially. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire includes a crown circumference direction groove(3). The crown circumference direction groove maintains and expands from both side of the tire equator of thread unit to the tire circumference direction. One side of the edge groove of the crown circumference direction has inclined L type groove edge. The inclined L type groove edge comprises a longitudinal unit(3c) and short-side unit(3t). The longitudinal unit expands as being inclined by 1~20 angle about tire direction. The short-side unit expands as being inclined to reverse direction to the longitudinal direction about circumference direction. The short-side unit has a shorter length of tire circumference direction than the longitudinal direction.
