PURPOSE: A copepod-derived copper-specific expression gene and a method for determining heavy metal pollution using the same are provided to early measure and prepare from accumulation of heavy metal pollutant. CONSTITUTION: A method for determining heavy metal pollution comprises: a step of quantitating expression level of oligonucleotide selected from oligonucleotides of sequence numbers 1-20 from a test copepod sample; and a step of determining that the test copepod sample is polluted in case of significantly increasing oligonucleotide expression level than the expression level in a standard copepod sample. The copepod is T. japonicus. |
