SPINDLE MOTOR ASSEMBLY MOUNTED ENCODER

PURPOSE: An encoder mounted spindle motor assembly is provided to increase spatial utilization by directly installing an encoder at the upper side of a connector installed to a circuit board. CONSTITUTION: A connector(300) is mounted at the upper surface of a circuit board(200). A spindle motor rotates a disk mounted at the circuit board. The spindle motor includes a rotary shaft, a bearing hole supporting a rotor case(420), an armature, and a base plate(450). An encoder(500) detects the recognition mark of the disk in order to detect the rotary speed of the disk. The encoder is mounted at the upper side of the connector.
