The vehicle has a spectrometric measurement device cooperating with a fuel tank (4) containing a fluid e.g. engine oil, where the spectrometric measurement device analyzes the fluid to determine the concentration of a predetermined chemical compound in the fluid present in the tank. The measurement device includes a polychromatic light source (14), a spectrometer (15), and an optical sensor (34), where an electronic control unit (25) controls the operation of the light source and the spectrometer, and deduces concentration of the fluid from information provided by the spectrometer.
