THE SCR SYSTEM OF A SHIP FOR NITROGEN OXIDE(NOX) REDUCTION USING FINE UREA POWDER

PURPOSE: An SCR(Selective Catalyst Reduction) system for a ship using urea powder and a nitrogen oxide(NOx) reduction method by the system are provided to reduce the size and weight of an urea container by employing urea powder for preparing ammonia, reducing agent. CONSTITUTION: An SCR system for a ship using urea powder comprises an urea powder supply unit(30), an urea container(40), and urea powder(50). The urea powder supply unit is connected to an exhaust gas discharge pipe(20). The urea container, in which urea powder is stored, is connected to the urea powder supply unit. The urea powder is transferred with a transfer screw(31) of the urea powder supply unit and supplied to an injection port formed in the exhaust gas discharge pipe.
