The device has high luminosity or standard light emitting diodes (LEDs) (1) positioned on a printed circuit board (2) whose lower side is adhered on a synthetic glass plate (3). The plate is positioned on the center line of a glass block (4) and adhered at its ends by a special glass adhesive placed on end caps (6). The inner and outer sides (5) are covered with sand to create a diffusing surface. An independent claim is also included for a glass block or slate comprising a lighting device. |
