PURPOSE: A method for providing a GUI representing link and arrangement of devices, and a device using the same are provided to intuitively and easily check device connected to a network by providing a GUI(Graphic User Interface) which indicates the connection state and arrangement state of devices. CONSTITUTION: A method for providing a GUI representing link and arrangement of devices comprises the steps of: checking the connection state and the arrangement state of devices(S1510); generating a GUI(Graphic User Interface) which indicates devices and the connection state and the arrangement state of the devices(S1520); and displaying the generated GUI, wherein the connection state of the devices is the connection relation between a certain device and peripheral devices and the arrangement state of the devices is the arrangement state of the certain device and the peripheral devices.
