PURPOSE: A device and a method for automatically replacing the insulation oil of a mineral oil immersed transformer with vegetable insulation oil in a live wire are provided to maintain the quality of the replaced insulation oil by minimizing the mixture of the mineral oil and the vegetable insulation oil in a transformer. CONSTITUTION: An automatic injection unit(300) cools vegetable insulation oil with a preset temperature and injects the cooled vegetable insulation oil into a transformer(100) with an injection valve. An automatic discharge unit(200) discharges the insulation oil of the transformer through an upper valve and a lower valve. A filtering unit(400) removes remaining sludge and moisture in the transformer when the insulation oil is completely replaced. A pneumatic pressure controller(600) constantly maintains the pneumatic pressure of the transformer. A controller(900) controls the automatic injection device and the automatic discharge device.
