PURPOSE: A method for transmitting and receiving data in a wireless network, and a device thereof are provided to efficiently use the channel resources allocated from a controller by utilizing some portion of unreserved region of a channel resource when transmitting and receiving between devices. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting device transfers A/V(Audio/Video) data to a receiving device through allocated channel resources, and the channel resources are allocated from a coordinator. The transmitting device transfers channel time extension information to the receiving device(S22), and retransmits the residual data according as the receiving device maintains a power mode of a certain section in a normal mode in a non-reservation region(S23,S24).
