PURPOSE: A post for a road railing is provided to relieve impact applied to the post by installing a cushioning pad and a cushioning washer. CONSTITUTION: A post for a road railing comprises one or more railing assembling grooves(101a), cushioning pads(110), cushioning washers(120), transparent or semi-transparent light emitting pipes(130), and connection wires(140). The railing assembling grooves formed on the front surface(103) of the post. The cushioning pads are attached on the bottom surface of the bottom plates(102) of the posts. The cushioning washers are attached on the top surface of the bottom plates. The light emitting pipes are assembled in pipe assembling holes(104a) formed on the side surfaces of the post. The connection wires are connected to the other post.
