PURPOSE: A tapping device having a foreign material removing function is provided to enable rotating tap to easily combine with a foreign removal plate to effectively remove the foreign material due to a clearance space for moving foreign material removing plate to be formed on the board mounting unit. CONSTITUTION: A tapping device(100) having a foreign material removal function includes a tap(110), a driving shaft(120), a housing(130), and a foreign material removing plate(140). The tap processes spiral line by moving back and forth and rotating. The tap is mounted to the driving shaft. The housing is surrounded to the tap and a driving shaft. The foreign material removal plate is installed to the passing passage of the tap in the housing. The foreign material removal plate removes foreign material inserted to gullies between spiral lines of the tap.
