PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent tooth jumping with a simple and inexpensive structure which is easily assembled. SOLUTION: In a disk device, an optical pickup is moved forward and backward i, j via a lead screw 16 and teeth 18 along a guide rod 15 by a feed motor, a laser beam is projected on a disk from the optical pickup 3, and information currently recorded on a disk is read based on the reflected light. The teeth 18 includes: a base frame part 26 which is made of plastic material and secured to a slide base 3a of the optical pickup 3; a fitting frame 28 which is integrally formed in the base frame part 26 via a plurality of elastically displaceable elastic arms 27 arranged in parallel order with a predetermined spacing h in the directions of forward/backward movement i, j; and a tooth part 29 integrally formed in the inside of the fitting frame 28. The fitting frame 28 is fitted to a vertical edge of the lead screw 16, and the tooth part 29 is inserted in a spiral groove 16a of the lead screw 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
