PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development support device and a program, capable of enhancing the easy changeability of a component constituting a product, in a component directive development. SOLUTION: An area for setting a port variable (template variable in the figure) concerned in port connection and connection information (variable specification in the figure) is provided in a configuration file indicating constitution of the component included in the product, and a set content of a property of an instance realized with the component, and the generation of a source code of the instance serving as a port connection object is controlled using the port variable and the connection information. Information acquired via a connected side component, and a restriction item about the port connection, are reflected thereby on the source code, without depending on a function of the connected side component, and without providing separately management information other than the configuration file.
