A refrigeration device for a trailer is comprised of an engine (41), an electric generator (40) which generates electric power using the drive of the engine (41), an inverter substrate, a temperature sensor (74) which detects the temperature of the inverter substrate, and a heat transfer mechanism (60) which heats the inverter substrate using the waste heat of the engine (41) when the detected temperature of the temperature sensor (74) is not more than the operation temperature of the inverter substrate.
