A method of inputting instructions to control a program executed by a computer provided with a touch- sensitive device arranged to detect zones of contact with at least a portion of a user's hand, the method comprising the steps of : ° determining surfaces of the contact zones; and ° selecting at least one instruction corresponding to the determined surfaces from a table that associates predetermined instructions with at least one surface or combination of surfaces.
