<p>A method for fast passing through services for synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) device is provided by the present invention. The method includes the following steps: a protection switching module compresses the first pass-through time slots between adjacent protection ports into the second pass-through time slots; when pass-through operation is triggered, the protection switching module sends the second pass-through time slots to a time slot configuring module to parse them; and the time slot configuring module sends the parsing result to a time slot register to process time slot pass-through. An apparatus for fast passing through services for SDH device is also provided by the present invention. The apparatus includes the protection switching module, the time slot configuring module and the time slot register. The use of the method and apparatus in the present invention reduces the time for processing pass-through configuration obviously, provides benefits for fast completion of protection switching and enables fast recovery of ring protective network service.</p> |
