<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas purification filter sometimes used at high temperature, in which cracks are less apt to occur, even if the temperature distribution in a filter base substance is uniform. <P>SOLUTION: The gas purification filter is disposed in a circulation passage of gas and collects a substance in the gas. The gas purification filter includes a filter body 1a, having a plurality of segment portions 10 each of which is constituted by a plurality of cells 5, each of which is made of a porous ceramics sintered body and partitioned by partition walls 4, extending in a single axial direction Z and provided in rows; and connection parts 11 each of which connects adjacent segment portions. The connection part is made of a ceramics sintered body and is formed integrally with the segment portion; the connection part has a length L in an axial direction thereof shorter than a length N in an axial direction of the segment portion; and the filter body has an integrated filter unit Cf, in which the connection part connects adjacent segment portions, and a separated filter unit Sf in which no connection part exists between adjacent segment portions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
