<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable cell recovery apparatus and method that surely collect only target cells from inside of an object well. <P>SOLUTION: The cell recovery apparatus includes a nozzle for collecting target cells from inside of an object well among a plurality of microwells on a microwell substrate. The cell recovery apparatus is furnished with the nozzle having a distal end opening of an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of the well, a pin member that is arranged in an inserted state into the nozzle and has an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the well and a pin drive apparatus that relatively moves the pin member along the central axis direction of the nozzle in the nozzle so as to project the pin member only by a predetermined length from the distal end opening of the nozzle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
