PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train control system that adjusts the operations between pieces of equipment or between functions equipped in trains so as to consistently execute disciplined control. SOLUTION: The train control system has a plurality of means among an automatic train operation means 44, a distributing means 47 of driving force and braking force, an energy accumulating means, and an auxiliary means, such as air-conditioning equipment, and the system includes a control means 24 that calculates a plurality of formation indexes, on the basis of information regarding the plurality of means and an external state of the trains and determines an operation plan as a formation on the basis of the plurality of formation indexes.
