<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of socks making feeling of wear excellent by uniforming tension for tightening a part to insert elastic yarn into, and sufficiently preventing slippage motion even with weak tension, and to provide a method for knitting the socks. <P>SOLUTION: This pair of socks is obtained by knitting by feeding knitting yarn in an orbital form from a tiptoe part to a foot insertion port part, or from the leg insertion port part to the tiptoe part, and inserting contracted elastic yarn into at least the foot insertion port part or its adjacent part. The knitting yarn comprises upper thread appearing on the surface of the socks and under thread appearing on the reverse, and the under thread is made of elastic yarn. The foot insertion port part of the socks or the knitted part of the vicinity is formed by a contracted elastic knitted part formed by repeating a knitted part made by alternately repeating knitting and tucking the under thread made of elastic yarn in the knitting course, and a knitted part knitted by the upper thread and the under thread made of elastic yarn. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
