PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throttle grip device capable of generating smooth rotational load when performing a rotating operation of a throttle grip and performing an operation of the throttle grip without a sense of incongruity, even if a throttle wire is disused. SOLUTION: This throttle grip device includes the throttle grip 1 rotatably attached at a distal end of a handle bar H, a magnet 5 rotating together with the throttle grip 1, an angle sensor 6 detecting a magnetic change of the magnet 5 by non-contact and detecting a rotation angle of the throttle grip 1, and a rotating side friction plate 9 and a fixed side friction plate 10 capable of generating resisting force and generating rotational load when rotating the throttle grip 1. The rotating side friction plate 9 and the fixed side friction plate 10 are selected so that materials having the substantially equal coefficients of dynamic friction and coefficients of static friction may be combined.
