PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make configuration simple and enable wiring to be easily carried out even when a laser oscillator is arranged. SOLUTION: A sliding circular saw 1 has a body 30 with a saw edge vertically movably arranged on a base 2 on which a material to be cut is mounted, and includes a laser oscillator 55 which makes laser perform surface emission in a vertical direction toward the material to be cut on the base 2 at a front holder 25 that pivotally supports the body 30. The laser oscillator 55 is a type to be operated by a DC power supply and has a battery box 53 for storing a battery to be the power source of the laser oscillator 55 at a right side surface of a blade case 33.
