摘要 A power supply system (1) for a hybrid vehicle (100) comprises a main power storage device (10-1) and a plurality of auxiliary power storage devices (10-2, 10-3) which are selectively used.  When the SOC of each of the power storage devices decreases to an SOC control target, the traveling mode shifts from a CD mode in which traveling by stored energy is performed with an engine (36) stopped to a CS mode in which traveling is performed with the stored energy maintained by power generation by the engine (36).  At the time of the activation of the power supply system (1) accompanying the start of the operation of the vehicle, an ECU (22) determines the use patterns of the power storage devices in the CS mode and the CD mode.  Further, the ECU (22) appropriately sets different SOC targets for the respective power storage devices according to the determined use patterns in such a manner that the largest possible amount of stored energy is used in the CD mode after securing available stored energy at the start of the CS mode.
