The component (1) has an edge region (2) comprising a layer assembly formed with electrically conductive metal layers (5, 11) that are arranged over each other. The metal layers are formed of aluminum alloy, titanium alloy or stainless steel alloy. The edge region is connectable with another edge region of another component (14) including a sandwich structure under creation of an electrically conductive joint. A hybrid region (3) has a layer assembly formed with a composite material layer (6) and the metal layers.
