The dishwasher (1) has a washing drawer (3) incorporated in a housing (2) and comprising a rear wall (14), a front wall, two side walls and a base plate. The washing drawer provides a washing space that is accessible via a feed opening (4). A covering lid (5) is provided for closing the feed opening and runs parallel to a covering wall (21) of the housing. The covering wall of the housing and a rear wall (22) of the housing form a housing corner (25). The covering lid is pivotably arranged in the housing around a rotational axis (6) that is formed in an area of the housing corner.
