PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure airtightness between an existing door frame and a newly installed door in a remodeled door. SOLUTION: A fixed strip 21 of a groove partitioning member 2 shaped in L cross section is superposed on each of door abutting step portions 14 of the existing door and vertical and horizontal existing frames 1a-1d in the existing door frame 1 from which hinges have been removed, and then fixed with screws 23. An airtight member groove strip is formed between a rising strip 22 and an indoor side depth surface 12 of the existing door frame 1, and engaged with an engaging base 31 to set an airtight member 3 so that the airtight member 3 faces the outdoor side. An L-shaped step portion 44 is disposed on the outer periphery of the indoor side depth surface of the newly installed door 4, whereby the depth surface of the L-shaped step portion 44 is brought into contact with the expanding portion 32 of the airtight member 3 to secure the airtightness between the existing door frame 1 and the newly installed door 4.
