<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air electrode which has low interface resistance and uses manganate system metal oxide as an air electrode material. <P>SOLUTION: The air electrode for a solid oxide fuel cell is obtained by molding and baking composite particle powder with manganate expressed in formula (1) of A<SB>(1-x)</SB>B<SB>(x)</SB>Mn<SB>(1-y)</SB>D<SB>(y)</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and stabilized zirconia coagulated. A mixed amount of the stabilized zirconia in the composite particle powder is 40-70 mass%, a 50% particle size (D50) of a volume reference at a particle size distribution measurement of the composite particle powder is 0.01-1.3 μm, and a ratio (D75/D25) of the 75% particle size (D75)to the 25% particle size (D25) of the volume reference at the particle size distribution measurement of the composite particle powder is 1.1-2.2. Here in the formula, A indicates one kind or more among La, Y, Ce, Pr, Sm, and Gd, B indicates one kind or more among Sr, Ca, and Ba, and D indicates one kind or more among Cr, Fe, Co, Ni, and Cu, x is 0.25-0.5, and y is 0-0.2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
