<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device in which deterioration and failure of a receiving unit which receives signals from outside can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: A substrate 41 of a light source module 40 has a circular hole 44 in the center part. On the substrate 41, LED modules 42, 43 which have a plurality of different light emission colors are annularly and alternatively arranged and with appropriate distance around the center of the hole 44. Moreover, the diameter of the hole 44 is larger than the dimension of a remote light receiver 45. The light-receiving part 45 of the remote controller is arranged nearly in the center of the hole 44, separated from the substrate 41.
