<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output device for outputting video/sound earlier than when starting a control LSI after selecting an HDMI terminal while always suppressing power consumption as compared with the case of turing on the power of the control LSI when inputting video/sound data through the HDMI terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The output device 1 includes: a start timing determination program 131 for determining a predetermined start timing for authentication between the time from the start of selecting an external input terminal by a switching button 701 to the selection of the HDMI terminal 14, for execution of a CPU; a driving start program 132 for starting driving of an authentication part 20 when it is determined that the predetermined start timing has come; a stop timing determination program 133 for determining stop timing for stopping the authentication part 20 when the driving of the authentication part 20 is started; and a driving stop program 134 for stopping the authentication part 20 when it is determined that the timing for stopping the authentication part 20 has come. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
