<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which changing of a communication means is simple without requiring complicated setup working even if changing to a communication means for a different processing function. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a processing control part 54 which determines from model information of each communication means, which of the first communication means 101 or the second communication means is connected, wherein the first communication means 101 is connected to be communicable with an information processor 200 via a communication network and includes a function of data analysis to convert printing data from the information processor 200 to printable printing image data in addition to a function as a communication interface, and the second communication means includes only a function as the communication interface, and which outputs communication means information for identifying the communication means based on the determination result; and a printing data control part 53 which processes the printing data according to the type of the connected communication means on the basis of the communication means information from the processing control part 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
