<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium sheet which has a satisfactory burning resistance and cracking resistance to exhibit a superior press formability, and to provide a method of manufacturing the titanium sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The titanium sheet 10 having hard layers 2 partially formed on the surface of a titanium raw material 1 is characterized in that, when the surface of the titanium sheet 10 is observed on a plurality of measure-like observation images and each edge of each measure M (length W of each edge) is 10μm, the hard layers 2 are formed such that the total average of lengths of the hard layers 2 at positions where straight lines S constituting the measures M intersect the respective surfaces of the hard layers 2 get to 5 to 200μm. The method of manufacturing the titanium sheet 10 characteristically includes: a hard layer forming process for forming the hard layer 2 on the surface of the titanium raw material 1; and a hard layer removing process for partially removing the hard layer 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
