PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire door which is fitted with glass, enables an installation to be smoothly performed without using heat-resisting plate glass, can exhibit excellent fire-preventive function, can suppress a predetermined approval cost, and can secure excellent visibility. SOLUTION: A plurality of panes of glass 12 are mounted on both sides of a door body 11 in such a manner as to cover an opening 20. A metal shield plate 13 is housed in the door body 11, and moved in the vertical direction so as to be moved from a retreat position coming out of the opening 20 to a shielding position disposed between the plurality of panes of glass 12 in such a manner as to shield the opening 20. A shield plate driving means 15 moves the shield plate 13 from the retreat position to the shielding position along with the fall of a weight 25 when an operation means 14 is operated.
