PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-aerofoil centrifugal fan capable of sufficiently reducing NZ noises, without causing flow passage resistance to increase, and to provide an air conditioner that uses the fan. SOLUTION: In a multi-aerofoil centrifugal fan in which there is rotatably provided an impeller equipped with many pieces of fan blades within a scroll-shaped casing 2, many level differences 12 with discontinuously varying heights in the rotating shaft direction of the impeller, and provided with acute angled top parts 13 are provided, on a side surface 5 downstream side of a tongue part 6 inside a casing 2.
