摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photodetector system which reduces power consumption during a standby state and sufficiently possesses practicality. SOLUTION: The photodetector system includes: an optical power generator 100 which receives a first infrared light signal and generates power; a sub photodetector unit 50 which is brought into active state by being supplied with the power generated by the optical power generator 100 and converts the first infrared light signal into a first electric signal when the first infrared light signal is received; a power source relay 63 which is positioned on a line, through which power inputted from the outside is supplied, and is capable of selecting a conducted/non-conducted state based on the first electric signal from the sub photodetector unit 50; and a main photodetector unit 40 which is supplied with the power supplied from the outside by bringing the power source relay 63 into the conducted state, is brought into an active state, converts the first infrared light signal into the first electric signal when the first infrared light signal is received, and converts a second infrared light signal into a second electric signal when the second infrared light signal is received.
