PURPOSE: A lamp signal generator and an image sensor thereof are provided to improve the ADC resolution of an image sensor by combining a current mode gain control process with a voltage mode gain control process. CONSTITUTION: A reference power setting part is composed of a reference current feeding part(210) and a reference voltage setting part(220). A lamp signal generating part is composed of a first switch(230), a current mode gain controller(240), and a voltage mode gain controller(250). The reference voltage setting part is composed of a resistor part(222) and a buffer(224). The current mode gain controller is composed of a capacitive element(242), a second switch(244), and a current source part(246).
