<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate material attaching device, a cylindrical outer surface scanning device, a plate material attaching method and an image recording method, achieving easy adaption to different printers at low cost, user friendliness, and prevention of the device from damaging. <P>SOLUTION: The plate material attaching device includes: engagement pins 22, 23 provided to a recording drum; an attaching auxiliary member 10 which is engaged with the engagement pins 22, 23 and positioned; engagement hole receiving pins 13, 14 which are provided to the attaching auxiliary member 10 and engaged with an engagement hole 12 formed on a print plate 9 for positioning the print plate 9; and a fixing mechanism which fixes the print plate 9 positioned via the attaching auxiliary member 10 to the drum. Thereby, even if the position or shape of the engagement hole 12 for positioning and fixing the print plate 9 to a printer is different, adaption to the printer can be achieved only by preparing the attaching auxiliary member 10 corresponding to the engagement hole 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
