<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing body restraining device capable of sufficiently securing sealing property or restraining property of an opening/closing body, and suppressing energy consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The opening/closing body restraining device 15 includes a seal structure part 22 which is provided on a side door 13 and has a permanent magnet 54 provided on a hollow part 52 of a seal 51, and an electromagnet structure part 21 which is provided on a vehicle body opening part 14 and comprises a wound coil 26 and a yoke 25. A magnetic flux in the reverse direction with respect to the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 54 is generated from the electromagnet structure part 21 by energizing the electromagnet structure part 21 in such a state that the side door 13 is closed in the vehicle body opening part 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
