PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device photographing a photograph picture from which fun of motion and an elapse of time can be felt in addition to enjoying a still picture photograph, a photographing method, and a reproducing method suitable for it. SOLUTION: This photographing device has an imaging part 2 imaging an object image and outputting picture data one by one, a picture change extracting part 5 which compares the picture data output one by one to extract a change part (flag 23), a period detecting part 5a to detect the period of the change in the change part which has been extracted from the image change extracting part 5, and a recording part 6 to record the picture data equivalent to data in one period which have been detected by the period detecting part 5a and record them as continuous still pictures based on the image data output from the imaging part 2.
