PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus specifying a photographer and further suppressing a photographing user from being recognized in error. SOLUTION: In the image processing apparatus, an image receiving means receives information concerned with a first image, a second image obtained by photographing a user photographing the first image, and a photographing device used for photographing the second image. An information receiving means receives information concerned with a user identification code for identifying the user and the photographing device. A recognition means specifies the user identification code on the basis of the information concerned with the photographing device which is received by the image receiving means and recognizes the second image received by the image receiving means by using the user of the specified user identification code as a recognition candidate.
