PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fluid injection-suction opening to an expansion and contraction member from being closed by the expansion and contraction member in contraction of the expansion and contraction member without thickening an endoscope to which the expansion and contraction member is attached and restricting the attaching position of the expansion and contraction member. SOLUTION: In the opening closure preventing structure in contraction of the expansion and contraction member for preventing the opening, which supplies or sucks a fluid with respect to the expansion and contraction member formed to the surface of the member to which the expansion and contraction member expanded or contracted by supplying or sucking the fluid with respect to the inside of the expansion and contraction member, is attached so as to be contained in the expansion and contraction member from being closed by the expansion and contraction member in contraction of the expansion and contraction member, a protruded part 24 is provided in the vicinity of the opening part 22 of the surface of the member to which the expansion and contraction member is attached.
