PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pin from being improperly pushed-in without requiring the strict management of an amount of push-in of the pin when inspecting a circuit substrate for a light source. SOLUTION: An inspection instrument for an endoscope light source includes: an instrument body to which the circuit substrate for a light source is attached; and a switch pushing member corresponding to the pin on an endoscope body side, and turning on a switch element for turning-on a light source mounted on the circuit substrate for a light source, by pressurizing a member to be pushed of the switch element when a light source unit is mounted on an endoscope body, which has a reception surface received by the end surface of the circuit substrate for a light source, so as to allow a mobile range with respect to the circuit substrate for a light source attached to the instrument body to be restricted before reaching the switch element body.
