PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen device in which a detached cassette can easily be disposed by a user while conforming to mind of "3R", and which is less in environmental load, is reduced in transport cost and management cost, is lightweight to facilitate user's detachment work and is convenient to be carried. SOLUTION: The screen device of a simple type includes: a thin film screen sheet 2 made of paper or synthetic resin; a winding roller 3, made of paper, for winding the thin film screen sheet 2; a driving mechanism 4 for driving the ends of the winding roller at least in the direction in which the thin film screen sheet 2 is wound; and a support frame 5 for supporting both ends of the winding roller 3 so as to be rotatable. A screen cassette U composed of at least the thin film screen sheet 2 and the winding roller 3 in the form of a unit is attached to the support frame 5 so as to be freely detached.
