A papermaking assembly releases a fibrous suspension onto a moving endless belt whose core is made up of a series of transverse plastic elements (2) separated above and below by shallow V-shaped detents (3, 4). The detents are filled by an anti-adhesive coating (5, 6). The detents are of U, V or trapezoidal cross section. The anti-adhesive coating in each detent terminate in close proximity to that of the adjacent detent.
