<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional LED illuminator not being able to carry out long distance radiation since spreading of emitted beams becomes great due to an area of a light emitting section being great in a light bulb as a light source and having a complicated structure. <P>SOLUTION: The LED illuminator is configured so that a plurality of illuminator elements 30 each configured to have one LED element 21 facing one collimating optical system 11, and arranged to have optical axes to be in parallel to each other. In this case, the LED illuminator is configured so that all luminous flux emitted from respective illuminator elements 30 are overlapped to form one beam in a far field while the luminous flux 21b from LED elements 21 in respective illuminator elements 30 are made parallel by the collimating optical systems 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
