<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproduction device capable of surely synchronizing reproduction of a video for a left eye with that of a video for a right eye to show the videos as a 3D video to a viewer without giving an uncomfortable feeling to the viewer. <P>SOLUTION: Respective video streams for a left view and a light view which are recorded in this recording medium are videos for a left eye and a right eye, and a reference relationship in encoding between pictures exists therein. Clip information is further recorded in the recording medium. As shown in the clip information, in the video streams for the left view and the right view, frame rates, aspect ratios and resolution values are equal to each other. This reproduction device reads the respective video streams from the recording medium, and decodes the respective pictures using the reference relationship in encoding between the pictures. The reproduction device further utilizes the fact that at least one of the frame rates, the aspect ratios and the resolution values are equal to each other to output the pictures decoded from the respective video streams while being synchronized with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
